One of the biggest values an independent educational consultant can offer you is the experience of traveling to multiple campuses during the year. I take a campus tour, attend the information session, and meet with admissions officers when I visit colleges and universities. In addition, I try to eat in the dining halls, talk with current students, and explore the surrounding neighborhoods. While virtual tours are helpful, there’s nothing quite like being there.
